Julie Burton
Julie
Burton was an Airforce brat who grew up in England, Alabama, Texas,
Colorado and Washington D.C., before moving to Nashville in
1997. Fresh out of high school, she hit the road with her band,
playing everywhere from Virginia to Minnesota & even Canada.
She has opened shows for Wade
Hayes,
Radney
Foster,
Pam
Tillis,
Firefall,
& Marshall
Tucker
to name a few.
Upon moving to Nashville, Julie became a staff writer with Killen Music. After a year she signed with Tanasi Music Group where she is currently an artist/writer.
Recently Julie performed on the CMA's singing backup for Sheryl Crow and Willie Nelson.
Her lyrics reflect that Julie has lived life with her share of setbacks and heartbreaks. The emotion in her voice makes it apparent that she is not just singing these songs, she's lived them.
